Part-Time Instructor – Design and Web Technologies
Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, NC

Average between 10-12 students per class. Courses were taught on campus in a lab setting combining a mix of case studies, hands-on exercises and lectures. Practical examples of real-word assignments were shared with students to provide a context for the application of design and web theories.

Guest Instructor – West Charlotte High School, Charlotte, NC
Taught a six-week course on technology tools to a class of approximately 25 students as part of a Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools’ initiative to pair industry professionals with underrepresented students in underperforming schools to help bridge the technology gap. Projects included developing a website and print newsletter with an emphasis on understanding cultural, social, and economic differences and how technology is used to shape public perceptions.

Adjunct/Lecturer in Graphic Design (2 Semesters)
UNC Charlotte Department of Art, Charlotte, NC

Taught graphic design concepts and principles to second and third year design students. Prepared course work to help students develop sound critical thinking skills. Emphasized the theoretical as well as the practical aspects of design as it relates to print and web communication
